‘Our Warwickshire’ appoints artists

Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW) has appointed two artists (one storyteller and one visual artist) to deliver a series of creative workshops as part of the ‘Our Warwickshire’ project. Coventry born storyteller Dave Pickering will work with local people to create and gather stories, memories and reflections of Warwickshire which will then be uploaded to the Our Warwickshire website. Local visual artist Ruth Spaak will create new artworks with community groups inspired by the themes of the Our Warwickshire project. These artworks will then be displayed in Market Hall Museum as part of a community display when the museum re-opens. Julia Holberry Associates and Nick Winterbotham project managed the successful Round 2 NLHF application in 2014.
