JHA wrote the Activity Plan for Bath Abbey’s Footprint project which will see the restoration of the floor, new visitor facilities, engaging interpretation and activity programme.

Julia Holberry Associates, with Christina Brooks and Elizabeth Newbery, researched and wrote the Activity Plan for Bath Abbey’s Footprint project.  We worked as part of a large team of architects, exhibition designers, café and visitor experience consultants to produce a wholly integrated Activity Plan which has the needs of visitors and participants at its heart.  We consulted with the clergy, staff, volunteers, users and non-users, school teachers and the Universities in order to establish their vision for the project and how they would like it to develop.  These findings have been fed into every aspect of the project and have been used as a basis for the activity programme.

The project was awarded £10.7 million by the NLHF.
