Julia Holberry Associates wrote the Activity Plan in support of Brooklands Museum’s Round 2 NLHF bid
Julia Holberry Associates, with Alison Porter and Alis Templeton, wrote the Activity Plan for the NLHF project that sees the story of aircraft production being interpreted on site. The project will also re-instate the race track finishing straight. The Activity Plan included a Volunteering Plan, a Training Plan, a Marketing Plan and Learning Plan.
To inform our programming proposals we interviewed decision-makers, staff, and volunteers, plus four focus groups made up of families and adults who are not regular museum visitors, a range of local community interest groups, teachers and schoolchildren. All these interviews provided depth to our consultation work. We used an online survey to provide breadth.
We prefer dialogue with the client and other consultants throughout the projects and this culminates in a stakeholder workshop to feedback on our findings before we put pen to paper.
Brooklands heard that they had secured their £4.85 million grant from the NLHF in February 2015.
