JHA explored the options for a new governance model, including transfer to trust from the local authority

Cumberland House is a natural history museum that forms part of the Portsmouth Museum Service.  The Council appointed Julia to work with them and the Friends of Cumberland House to examine the options for new governance, including trust status.  This involved working through the options and their implications with the Friends and Council officers and members.  She recommended that Cumberland House was too small an entity to go it alone and should join forces with a larger organisation.
