JHA worked with architects, Dow Jones, to maximize the use of Durning Library

Durning Library is a charming Edwardian Library in south London.  Like all local authorities, Lambeth Council is facing severe cuts in the next few years and is seeking to secure the future of its service by finding new sources of income.  For Durning Library the proposals include turning rooms above the Library into a rented flat and building a new extension to house new offices for rental.  Julia Holberry Associates wrote an outline business plan for each option, looking at which combination of activity charges, flat and office rental provided the most income to support and benefit the future library activities.
