The synergies between The Florence Nightingale Museum and the Old Operating Theatre formed the basis for our Strategic Review and led to our Joint Working Options Analysis. Both museums have a medical theme and are connected by the Florence Nightingale story and by affiliation to Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital.
Our Review sought to review the opportunities to formalise a collaboration between the two museums and to identify the legal and practical implications of formal collaboration. We also sought to build on current key shared partnerships and alliances, including the King’s Museums Roundtable, to identify any additional museums, collections, archives or institutions that could be potential collaborators or partners in developing a future collaboration or merger.
