Elizabeth Oxborrow-Cowan is a professional archivist and qualified management consultant. She is a very experienced archivist who has run her own consultancy since 2003. Elizabeth has worked right across the archives sector throughout the UK in both public and private settings. Consequently, she has a strong working knowledge of archives in a wide variety of situations including local government, museums, libraries, business and universities, from small private organisations to national institutions. She advises on both technical and strategic issues and has delivered numerous options appraisals, feasibility studies, action plans for strategic transformation, cataloguing programme plans, and collection and accommodation assessments. She also works extensively with key decision and policy makers such as The National Archives, the Welsh Government and the Archives and Records Association.
